What are we looking for?

The Fabrication Specialistis responsible for on-site fabrication of fixtures and test set-ups; providing assistance and advice to the engineering team; and evaluation and repair of mechanical and elctro-mechanical equipment using a combination of internal and external resources.

Shift/Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

What you'll do:


* Machining per provided prints of mechanical test assemblies.


* Assembly and verification of mechanical test assemblies.


* Welding ferrous and non-ferrous metals.


* Overseeing and advising others on the use of shop resources.


* Advising the mechanical design team and other engineering staff with emphasis on optimizing designs to be efficiently fabricated.


* Maintenance and repair of shop equipment and lab equipment as needed.


* Other duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:


* High school diploma or GED.


* 5+ years related experience including extensive welding, milling, lathe work, equipment design repair and maintenance.
