Your Role: Quality Assurance Associate – On the Floor
As a Quality Assurance (On The Floor) Associate, you will be part of the manufacturing quality team supporting real-time GMP compliance and operational excellence.
In this role, you will spend significant time on the manufacturing floor providing immediate quality oversight, identifying risks, and coaching teams to drive Right First Time (RFT) performance and inspection readiness.
Your Responsibilities:
* Provide real-time GMP guidance and oversight to manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to SOPs and compliance standards
* Perform in-process batch record and cleaning log reviews to support continuous, compliant production
* Conduct aseptic behavior observations and GMP walkthroughs to identify and mitigate quality risks
* Support deviation identification, documentation, and immediate containment actions
* Coach and partner with operations to drive a culture of quality, RFT manufacturing, and continuous improvement
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
* Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a science-related field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry)
* Required Experience: Relevant experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments (level based on experience and technical depth)
* Top 2 skills (all in one bullet): Strong observational and risk identification capability; effective communication and interpersonal skills
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
* Experience with systems such as Veeva, SAP, and Microsoft Office
* Prior experience in USDA/FDA regulated manufacturing environments
* Knowledge of aseptic processing and cleanroom behaviors
* Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
* Experience supporting real-time manufacturing floor quality activities

* Travel: Minimal
* Location: US – Fort Dodge (On-site manufacturing environment; shift-based role including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts)
