About You

In the role of Internal Controls Consultant, you will partner with businesses and functional teams to study, evaluate, and recommend control improvements in their processes.
You will act as a trusted advisor on internal control matters and support the organization in maintaining a strong and effective control environment.

In this role you will:
* Lead initiatives that promote internal controls awareness and education across the organization.
* Serve as the primary internal controls resource for the business and the Controller’s Office.
* Partner with businesses to identify value creation opportunities and support process improvements.
* Embed strong process-level controls into key projects and GBS migrations.
* Support internal and external audit engagements and ensure timely remediation of findings.
* Execute and oversee periodic testing of controls and remediation activities.
* Perform special analyses and studies as required.
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
* 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, IT, audit, or internal controls
* Strong understanding of SOX, IT General Controls, and internal control frameworks
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Big Four or multinational public company experience
* Experience supporting global or regional control environments
