Summary

Supervisethe daily administration of the weekly payroll processing for 6,323 employeesdistributed in four Mexican Legal entities.

Ensure accurate and timelyexecution of payroll process in compliance with all applicable local, state,and federal government regulations.

Provide direct supervision to payrollanalysts by delegating and monitoring performance and workflow.

Acts as aworking Supervisor by performing the same or similar work as direct reports.

Position Responsibilities:



* Ensure theaccurate processing of the entire payroll cycle including the weekly payroll,interbank payments and manual checks.

Assist to the stores in update and correct,as necessary, the weekly payroll submissions in order to ensure that computing,withholding, or deductions associated with net pay is done properly.

Overseesthe collection and processing of the timesheet of employees located in CATMexico (SSC).

Coordinate the request and distribution of food coupons and printand delivery the payroll receipts.

Calculate on a monthly basis the accrual ofannual bonus.


* Superviseday-to-day activities of payroll analysts and prepare proper work schedules toensure appropriate coverage.

Ensure they are properly coached and trained innew tasks in order to achieve a 100% on time and accurate processing each week;furthermore, determine what specific actions need to be taken to achieve thespecified target.

Cover for team members in back-up role for vacation.

AssistAccounting Manager to create annual team objectives.


* Documentpayroll processes with process maps, checklists and procedures.

Collaboratewith the SSC Finance Manager in provide all the information required in orderto evaluate and analyze existing payroll policies, procedures and businessprocesses.

Support the payroll senioraccountant in reconciling the payroll liability accounts and support financeteams with payroll related data requests (i.e.

forecast).

In addition, workclosely with the tax team and payroll vendor to ensure that all tax relatedinformation is kept current within the payroll system.


* Keepupdated the weekly Payroll Key Performance Indicators in order to determine theroot cause of errors and exceptions identified in the payroll process executedby the stores, distribution centers and SSC.

In addition, assist to theAccounting Manager and the SSC Finance Manager in the implementation of changesand/or quality control measures leading to best practice operation.


* Ensure theprocessing of new hires, transfers, promotions and terminations is accurate andtimely manner.

In addition, collaborate with Human Resources in order to ensurethe payroll checks and payment orders related to terminations are calculatedproperly and on timely basis.
