For the first time in Hermès GB's history, we are creating a role as distinctive and iconic as the Maison they will welcome.

Hermès GB is preparing to open its newest Maison at 166 New Bond Street (only our sixth Maison globally) a moment of extraordinary significance for London, for our House, and for the future of luxury.

This flagship will stand as a bold, architectural expression of who we are: a place of culture, creativity, and wonder.

To bring this world to life, we are assembling a team of remarkable individuals who will shape its culture from day one and this role our Welcome Host is not simply a greeter they are our opening chapter of our Maison; our first smile, warmest introduction and undeniably Hermès.

We are looking for a character of charisma and charm, a presence so memorable that clients speak of them long after they've stepped inside.

This is a role for someone who delights in the poetry of human connection and understands that a welcome, when done beautifully, becomes part of the Hermès experience itself.

The Role

As our Welcome Host, you will become an iconic figure at the doors of Hermès' new Maison.

A warm, whimsical, impeccably polished, and effortlessly gracious individual that embodies all of Hermès' values.

You will set the tone for every visit, whether a client is joining us for a long‑awaited appointment or simply wandering in to explore.

Your presence will be the gentle thread that ties together the elegance of the Maison and the comfort of genuine hospitality.



* Greet clients as they approach and enter, offering a welcome that feels both elevated and deeply personal


* Serve as a key ambassador of the Maison, embodying our values with warmth and refinement


* Create a sense of identity and occasion from the very first moment


* Support clients with thoughtful touches, an umbrella cover, a guiding gesture, a reassuring word


* Usher clients to our Maison Host team to schedule or attend appointments


* Be present for departing clients, ensuring their final impression is as memorable as their first


* Offer direction and assistance with grace and clarity


* Build strong relationships with internal teams, becoming a trusted and recognisable figure within the Maison


* Represent both Hermès and the local community with pride and poise
