HPE Networking - Account Manager (K-12 and Local Government Sector)
HPE Networking is a leading provider of AI-Native next-generation networking solutions supporting our Local Government and Education customers.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our team, supporting our K-12 and Local Government business in Arkansas.
The Account Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and prospects within the assigned territory.
This role focuses on understanding customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, and driving revenue growth through consultative selling and strategic account management.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex accounts, delivering exceptional customer service, and achieving sales targets in the networking or technology sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue within assigned territory, focusing on K-12 and Local Government customers.
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including district administrators, IT managers, and other decision-makers.
* Identify customer needs and present customized HPE Networking solutions that deliver business value.
* Collaborate with internal teams (sales engineers, technical support, marketing) to develop compelling proposals, bids, and presentations.
* Manage the sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and achieve regional sales targets.
* Provide ongoing account support, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
* Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure solutions meet their evolving needs.
* Drive demand generation activities and participate in regional events, webinars, and industry conferences.
* Stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
* Mentor junior team members and share best practices for account management and solution selling.
