General Purpose

The primary responsibility of the Registered Nurse (RN) is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities during your assigned shift, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining the highest level of resident care.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities


* Supervise and coordinate nursing staff to ensure quality resident care


* Provide direct nursing care including assessments, treatments, and medication administration


* Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to physicians and care team


* Ensure accurate and timely documentation in medical records


* Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges


* Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings


* Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards


* Make daily rounds to assess resident care and staff performance


* Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions


* Support and guide CNAs and LVNs in delivering care


* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members

Qualifications

Education & Experience


* Graduate of an accredited nursing program


* Skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred

Licensure & Certifications


* Current, active California RN license in good standing


* Current CPR/BLS certification
