About You

In one of our engineering roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center.

Job responsibilities include:


* Lead, support, or consult on capital process improvement projects with a financial scope of up to $100 million from conception through commercialization.


* Provide functional leadership and creativity in the initiation, design, development, and optimization of manufacturing and converting equipment and processes to meet safety and OEE objectives.   


* Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, and project management.   


* Carry out all job responsibilities in a safe manner.  Develop equipment and processes that meet safety codes, policies and guidelines.  Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel. 


* Identify complex technical issues and provide necessary solutions to eliminate root cause.  


* Conceive, develop, validate, and share ideas leading to new or improved products, processes, materials, systems or scientific knowledge aligned with business unit objectives. 


* Coach and mentor team members to increase technical understanding of equipment and processes and their ability to execute programs to improve NA tissue value stream business results. 


* Share expertise and provide coaching to build team capability.


* Drive a culture of protected and documented innovation to protect and defend K-C proprietary technology, products, and business processes through appropriate use of patents and trade secrets.

This includes completing required project documentation through EFS, EDR, and Appropriation activities and following PMP documentation including Corporate Financial Instructions (CFIs).
