Housekeeper (Wednesday-Sunday 9-5)

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and guest-ready rooms at The Madison Hotel.

This role plays a key part in the overall guest experience by ensuring each room is cleaned with care, stocked correctly, and presented to hotel standards before guest arrival.

The Housekeeper is expected to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail, cleanliness, and consistency.

This position supports both stayover and checkout service, helps maintain public areas when needed, and communicates any maintenance, safety, or guest-related concerns to the appropriate manager.

Key Responsibilities


* Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards.


* Make beds, change linens, remove trash, dust, vacuum, mop, and clean all surfaces.


* Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including toilets, showers, sinks, mirrors, floors, and fixtures.


* Restock guest supplies, towels, amenities, coffee, tissue, toilet paper, and other room items.


* Inspect rooms for cleanliness, damage, missing items, maintenance needs, or safety concerns.


* Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, guest concerns, or room damage to management.


* Maintain housekeeping carts, closets, supplies, and equipment in a clean and organized manner.


* Follow proper chemical use, safety procedures, and hotel cleaning standards.


* Assist with laundry, public areas, hallways, and other housekeeping duties as needed.


* Work as part of the hotel team to ensure rooms are ready on time and guest expectations are met.
