Dietary Aide (Full-Time)

Location: Salinas Valley Post Acute
Schedule: 4 Days On / 2 Days Off
Pay Rate: $18.35 per hour

Salinas Valley Post Acute is currently seeking a Full-Time Dietary Aide to join our dedicated healthcare team.

This role is essential in providing quality nutrition services that support the health and comfort of our residents.

Job Responsibilities


* Assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and meal service


* Deliver meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner


* Ensure dietary restrictions and resident preferences are followed


* Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining, and work areas


* Follow all food safety and infection control guidelines


* Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and staff

Qualifications


* Prior experience in a dietary or food service role preferred (healthcare setting a plus)


* Ability to work on a rotating 4 on / 2 off schedule


* Strong teamwork and communication skills


* Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks


* Food handler certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
