As the Senior Inspector, RIT, you will be responsible for maintaining quality standards for processing material to ensure compliant material is delivered to the Program and the Final Customer.

The hourly pay rate for this is $28.25.

GXO, in good faith, believes this is the pay rate for this role at the time of this posting.

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted rate and this rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed California.

This rate may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for hourly shift differential.

What you'll do on a typical day:


* Perform inspection of machine parts and castings utilizing various inspection techniques and equipment to assure functional performance according to drawing specifications


* Receiving Inspection and test of incoming material received at other sites


* Provide validation and disposition of actual defects for both Hardware and Documentation Quality Notifications (QN).


* Participate in cause and corrective actions to alleviate production difficulties

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:


* Extensive experience with Open Setups to inspect orientation, location and form.


* Extensive experience with blueprints, MIL-STDs, technical procedures, specifications, standards, and other engineering and manufacturing documents


* Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word


* Strong reading, writing, verbal and presentation skills for interaction at various levels of management and within the organization.
