US Convertible Bonds Junior Sales - Analyst

Our Convertible Bond Sales team is seeking a motivated and ambitious Analyst for a Sales assistant role in the New York office.

You will be responsible for:


* Supporting the sales team coordinating with internal stakeholders in operations, and KYC, banking and compliance


* Collaborate with trading, research, syndicate, and other functions to deliver exceptional service to our clients and to the sales team.

This role offers the opportunity to grow into becoming a client facing salesperson after a few years.

Job responsibilities:


* Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure that back end operational tasks are completed.

This includes monitoring and resolving trade breaks/settlement issues, assisting clients in accessing JPM research and onboarding new accounts.


* Learn JPM Convert accounts and strategies to understand market participants and various trading styles.


* Self-starter who will generate trade ideas & market commentary to distinguish yourself and to assist sales in identifying opportunities for clients and the desk.


* Write a daily recap on market activity and valuation .

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:


* 4 year college degree.


* Strong Math Skills


* Proficient in MS Excel


* Self-starter with genuine passion for financial markets


* Very strong communication skills.


* Proactive, team player, detail-oriented, curiosity are musts.


* Excellent time management abilities.
