Job Summary:
The Electronics Technician is responsible for incoming product inspection audits, product rework/updates, and filling other technical roles reporting to Engineering Technical Services Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Carry out product inspections and document findings following QA guidance.
* Carry out product programming requests and/or FW updates following QA or ENG guidance.
* Analyze and interpret test data along with identifying next steps to be taken.
* Verify functionality of newly designed products performance under actual operating conditions.
* Perform electrical and mechanical assembly of factory test station equipment.
* Perform basic failure analysis, record results and provide corrective actions.
* Run experiments under the guidance of an engineer.
Skills and Competencies:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact clearly and concisely with all departments and levels of management
* Excellent organizational skills with attention-to-detail
* Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks
* Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Ability to multi-task is essential
* Excellent analytical, and numerical skills
* Ability to use measuring and diagnostic equipment, such DMMs
* Understanding of failure analysis, corrective, and preventative action techniques
* Excellent workmanship skills
* Ability to perform tests and keep accurate records
* Ability to learn new technologies and techniques
Education, Experience, and Licenses/Certifications:
* High school diploma or GED required
* Associate's degree or equivalent in technical work a plus
