Manufacturing Engineer

Your Job

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will define, develop, and lead the implementation of new manufacturing processes and continuous improvements to existing processes supporting the production of mission-critical aerospace and defense electronics.

You will ensure manufacturing excellence by balancing quality, reliability, cost efficiency, and regulatory compliance in highly controlled environments.

Our Team

Our manufacturing team operates in a high-reliability, highly regulated aerospace and defense production environment, where precision, discipline, and continuous improvement are essential.

We work closely across manufacturing engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, and product engineering to bring complex electronic products from development through full-rate production.

Our facilities support low-to-medium volume, high-mix manufacturing, requiring strong process ownership, rigorous qualification, and data-driven decision making.

Team members are empowered to improve processes, implement new technologies, and influence how products are built-while meeting strict customer, regulatory, and quality requirements.

Collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence define how we work.

If you thrive in an environment where manufacturing decisions directly impact product performance in mission-critical applications, this team will challenge and reward you.

What You Will Do

You will serve as a manufacturing technical leader, partnering closely with engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, and external partners.

Key responsibilities include:

* Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure safe, efficient, and repeatable production.

* Evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in quality, cost, yield, safety, and throughput

* Provide daily technical support to production, troubleshooting issues impacting quality, delivery and throughput.

* Collaborate cross-functionally with quality, design engineering, supply chain, and operations to meet business objectives.

* Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions

* Analyze process plans and develop lean-based manufacturing layouts and workforce utilization strategies

* Develop, execute, and document comprehensive process qualification activities, including:

* PFMEAs

* Quality Control Plans

* First Article Inspection (FAI) requirements
