Business Office Assistant
Position: Business Office Partner
Work Schedule: AM Shift Job Type: Full Time
The ideal candidate will have 2 years prior experience in bookkeeping, proficiency in writing and mathematical skills, knowledge of bookkeeping fundamentals, including accounts payable, payroll/human resources and general ledgers is a plus.
Knowledge of South Carolina Medicaid processes, Medicare requirements, Insurance Verifications is helpful.
Candidates must possess good communications and analytical skills with attention to detail; be able to work accurately and effectively with pressures of report schedules and customer inquiries; be well organized, reliable, persistent and work as a team player.
This position is responsible to develop and maintain in a confidential manner the bookkeeping records necessary to properly account for the transactions of the business and to safeguard the asses by following company procedures.
Preparing accurate and timely accounting transactions and reports is critical.
Position Highlights:
* Maintain an accurate daily census record.
* Accumulate and price all charges for supplies and services.
* Classify all charges between distinct service areas.
* Record charges for processing in an automated accounts receivable system.
* Bill accurately and timely all parties for the services rendered.

Experience
* High school diploma or equivalent and formal classroom bookkeeping education or two years bookkeeping experience.
* Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, Private Insurances, Private Pay Practices
* Be able to work accurately with pressures of deadlines and interruptions while at the same time being well organized, persistent and working as a team player.
* Possess good communication and analytical skills with particular ability to pay attention to details.
* Proficiency in writing and mathematical skills.
* Must have 2 years prior bookkeeping experience
