Overview

Prepares made-to-order omelets, eggs, and occasionally other breakfast items, primarily working Saturday and Sunday mornings.

This role focuses on high-speed, interactive guest service, ensuring food is fresh, cooked to order, and customized to guest preferences.

Core Responsibilities


* Live-Action Cooking: Prepare made-to-order omelets and egg dishes in front of guests, often using hot, non-stick pans or flat-top grills.


* Station Setup & Breakdown: Set up the omelet station with necessary ingredients (bacon, sausage, veggies, cheese) and break it down/clean at the end of the shift.


* Guest Service: Provide friendly, interactive service while cooking, maintaining a professional demeanor in a high-visibility, fast-paced environment.


* Food Safety & Hygiene: Adhere to all health department laws and company sanitation standards, including maintaining proper food temperatures (FIFO method).


* Prep Work: Chop, slice, and prepare ingredients (vegetables, proteins) for the station before service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


* Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per check from servers.


* Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to over prepare estimated needs.


* Date all food containers and rotate as per HEI Hotels and Resorts standards, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
