Sr. Manager, Firmware / Software

For this U.S.

based position, the expected compensation range is $168,800 - $211,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States.

Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level.

Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Firmware/Software to lead a global team of engineers focused on delivering high-quality embedded and control-system software for industrial automation products.

The ideal candidate is both a strong technical leader and an effective communicator who can interface confidently with engineers, cross-functional teams, and customers.This role requires deep technical understanding of embedded systems, real-time operating environments, and modern software engineering practices, along with the leadership ability to guide complex, mission-critical development programs.
What will you do:


* Lead, mentor, and manage a global team of firmware and software engineers.


* Provide technical guidance and oversight across embedded software development projects.


* Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product management, and customer-facing teams.


* Engage directly with customers to understand requirements, present technical concepts, and support problem resolution.


* Ensure software development processes meet quality, reliability, and performance standards.


* Drive continuous improvement in development practices, tools, and architecture.


* Review technical designs, code, and system architectures to ensure alignment with product goals.


* Coordinate with global engineering groups to ensure effective communication and project execution.
