Sr Manager - Accounting (Hybrid)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Independently manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes using Costpoint as the core enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Establish, maintain, and allocate cost pools in compliance with Government Contracting (GovCon) and DCAA requirements.
- Oversee billing, accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries across multiple complex programs.
- Lead and manage audit requests (e.g., incurred cost, project-related audits, SOX, DCAA), including the preparation and submission of required supporting documentation.
- Perform detailed review and analysis of monthly close results to identify financial risks, issues, and required corrective actions.
- Drive financial governance, internal controls, and audit readiness within a highly regulated, DCAA-focused environment.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of complex Microsoft Excel models and analyses, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
- Serve as a senior accounting advisor and trusted partner to Group Finance, program management, and systems teams.
- Partner with FP&A using TM1 to support forecasting, reforecasting, and long-range financial planning activities.
- Review and approve work performed by managers and senior accountants, providing technical guidance and training, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial outputs.
- Manage a large team or multiple smaller teams typically comprised of other managers, supervisors and/or experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 7+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
