Technician I/II - Marine

We are the Pacific Northwest’s Caterpillar Dealer in delivering prime and standby electric power, marine, oil and gas, and industrial/OEM installations.

About the Position:

Due to the increase in demand, NC Power Systems is searching for an ideal Marine technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing CAT equipment across multiple projects.

Essential Duties:  


* Removing, Repairing, Assembling and Installing CAT equipment


* Coordinating with Parts department to order the necessary parts


* Planning and organizing to assist controlling job costs

Qualifications & Experience Needed:


* High School Diploma/GED


* Degree in Diesel technology or equivalent hands on experience is required


* Experience with CAT Engines (Marine or Generator) is preferred


* This role requires the ability to stand up at a minimum of eight hours a day (including twisting, bending, squatting, sitting, stooping, kneeling and lifting up to 50 pounds)


* Must possess basic tool set


* Must maintain a valid driver’s license
