JEWELRY/SALES VP

Responsible for the overall execution of the division's operations of all departments.

Manage financial performance of regional retail stores to meet their objectives.

Direct and coordinate the effective operations of all departments within Fred Meyer Jewelers.

Champion and lead strategic change to improve the efficiencies and partner with corporate leaders to create a distinct competitive advantage and enhance the company's position in jewelry retail.

* Bachelor's Degree


* 5+ years Fred Meyer management experience as district sales manager, , and divisional manager (not less than one year in each position); or combination of relevant education and experience


* Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information


* Ability to maintain confidentiality


* Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projects


* Accuracy/attention to detail


* Familiarity with retail industry terms and processes


* Ability to work within rigid time frames and resolute deadlines


* Ability to continue education, as necessary

DESIRED


* Any experience directing and participating on project teams


* Any store director experience



* Articulate the company's mission concisely that speaks to customers and associates at all levels


* Create actionable division goals that make it possible to turn our mission into tangible results


* Develop and lead effective division short- and long-term plans to exceed customer expectations and comply with all government laws and regulations


* Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports


* Travel to meet the needs of the business


* Coordinate the implementation of merchandising plans and verify that sales promotion/displays meet divisional standards


* Maintain current awareness of all merchandising and operational standards and requirements


* Collect and report financial data on a weekly, period and quarterly basis


* Review analyses of activities, costs, operation, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated goals and objectives


* Direct and review the performance of personnel responsible for further delegation to attain financial goals and objectives


* Perform store inspections to review store conditions, customer service performance, merchandising standards, associate performance, and overall store operations


* Lead development and administration of financial goals and objectives, including monitoring and controlling expenses
