Assistant Nurse Manager - MC/CHC - Emergency Room

The County of Riverside's Riverside University Health System, (RUHS), is currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Nurse Manager-MC/CHC for the Emergency Room in Moreno Valley.

The Assistant Nurse Manager - MC/CHC is the supervisory level classification and reports to an appropriate director level management position.

Incumbents assist in the overall supervision and coordination of operations and programs within assigned nursing units.

The scope of responsibility for the Assistant Nurse Manager - MC/CHC spans all aspects of nursing care, 24-hours per day, for multiple inpatient-nursing units or high-volume outpatient units.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and at least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, which must have included a t least one year of experience as a charge nurse or experience in a lead capacity.

Required Licenses and Certifications



* A current and valid Registered Nurse license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of California.


* A current and valid Basic Life Support, (BLS), certification, issued by the American Heart Association.


* A current and valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support, (ACLS) , certification, issued by the American Heart Association.


* A current and valid Pediatric Advances Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.


* A current and valid National Institute of Health Stroke Scale, (NIHSS), certification issued by the American Heart Association, Blue Cloud-National Stroke Association, or Apex.


* A current and valid Trauma Nursing Core Course Certification, (TNCC), or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses, (ATCN), certification.


* A current and valid Mobile Intensive Care Nurse, (MICN), certification.


* A current and valid Crisis Prevention Institute, (CPI), certification.
