General Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to provide routine daily nursing care and services to assigned residents, with a focus on assisting residents with showers and personal hygiene needs in accordance with each resident's care plan, facility policies, and state regulations.
Essential Duties


* Assist residents with showers, bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene


* Ensure resident comfort, dignity, and privacy at all times


* Follow infection control and safety protocols


* Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to nursing staff


* Assist with transporting residents to and from shower areas


* Maintain clean, safe, and organized shower and bathing areas


* Document care provided in accordance with facility policies


* Work collaboratively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team


* Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and visitors

Qualifications


* Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in California (required)


* Previous skilled nursing experience preferred


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team


* Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Physical Demands


* Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting


* Ability to assist residents with mobility and transfers


* Ability to lift/move residents with proper equipment and assistance

Work Schedule


* Full-Time


* Monday-Friday
