Asset Management Business Management Associate - CMAS

Job summary:

As a Business Management Associate (CMAS) supporting the Head of the Customized Management Account Solutions Team, you will work with senior leaders and internal business managers to execute key strategic projects and assist with solving day-to-day business issues.

You will work independently, possessing energy and confidence to complete projects with limited supervision.

Interact and communicate confidently and effectively with all levels of management, including executive management of the firm.

Prioritize work, meet tight deadlines, and possess strong attention to detail.

Utilize qualitative and quantitative tools to analyze, synthesize and interpret information and work successfully and efficiently in a team-based environment.

Job Responsibilities:


* Partner with various business groups across functions to execute key priorities, understanding and defining business needs in the context of short- and long-term objectives.


* Analyze data, processes, team organization, and supporting applications to identify weaknesses, gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.


* Communicate priorities, processes, and initiatives in a simple and compelling way.


* Organize, plan, and participate in key leadership meetings.


* Annotate minutes and manage follow-up items for leadership and team meetings.


* Develop outlines, content, and talking points for internal and external client events (e.g., presentations, operating committees).

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:


* 3+ years' experience with exposure/involvement in one or more of the various Asset Management businesses or Asset Management Product areas, or other financial services experience


* Strong analytical skills - financial analysis, project management, other quantitative analysis (i.e., performance and risk calculations)


* Expertise with Excel (e.g., managing large amounts of data, complex data manipulation using pivot tables, formulas, etc.)


* Expertise in PowerPoint: creating slides / charts and editing presentations for senior meetings


* Strong communication skills (written and oral) with ability to deliver messages clearly and succinctly


* Demonstrate ability to multi-task and re-prioritize quickly
