Production Operator

Primary Duties & Responsibilities


* Correctly identify and build molds according to casting schedule


* Assist in building loads for carbonization kilns


* Assist in breaking down carbonization kiln loads


* Clean infiltrated product, using the grit-blasting machines, per procedure


* Maintain grit-blasting machines with basic preventive and routine maintenance (daily)


* Follow standard work procedures and detailed instruction


* Prioritize in a multi-task work cell


* Keep accurate written documentation


* Maintain clean, safe and organized work environment


* Assist in preparing and breaking down of furnace loads

Education & Experience


* Work effectively with minimal supervision.


* Able to get along well with others.


* Basic proficiency in data entry


* Good communication (oral and written) skills.


* Ability to keep accurate records.

Working Conditions


* Manufacturing environment, exposure to dust

Physical Requirements


* Able to frequently lift/push/pull objects that are 50 pounds (or heavier with assistance) repeatedly.


* Able to sit, stand, bend, squat, and walk about the facility 8-12 hours/day
