Product Manager- Data Streaming Platform

As a Technical Product Manager in the Streaming Data Platform team, you will drive the strategy, development, and growth of a platform that powers real-time data ingestion, processing, and analytics.

You will collaborate with engineering, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver impactful solutions that empower our teams and customers.

Job responsibilities


* Collaborates with engineering, architecture, and business teams to gather requirements and prioritize features


* Identifies customer needs and pain points through research and feedback, translating insights into business cases for new features


* Acts as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding platform capabilities and roadmap


* Resolves stakeholder issues by providing timely support and ensuring effective communication


* Translates business requirements into clear product specifications and user stories


* Oversees the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization


* Ensures the platform meets security, compliance, and reliability standards

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills


* Strong understanding of streaming data technologies such as Apache Kafka, Flink, Spark Streaming, AWS Kinesis, or Azure Event Hubs


* Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, and modern data architectures


* Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization


* Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and vice versa


* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


* Five years of experience or equivalent expertise in product delivery or a relevant domain area


* Demonstrated ability to execute operational management and change readiness activities

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills


* Experience in working with real-time analytics


* Proficient knowledge of product development in streaming and real-time platforms


* Experience in product or platform-wide release management and deployment strategies


* Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes


* Exposure to cloud technologies
