Legal Counsel - GULF (6 month Contract)

Your Mission

Within a demanding and fast-paced environment, the candidate is expected to provides hands-on contractual support to the business.

The role focuses on day-to-day commercial and contractual matters, supporting business activities while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, internal policies, and Schneider Electric group standards.

* Legal & Commercial Support



* Draft, review, negotiate, and support the execution of a broad range of commercial and project agreements, including:



* Sales and supply agreements


* Services and maintenance contracts


* EPC, subcontracting, consortium, and partnership agreements


* Distribution, agency, and channel partner agreements



* Support project and tender activities (public and private), including bid documentation, contractual risk analysis, and contract execution.



* Risk Management and Disputes Supports



* Identify and escalate legal and contractual risks in a timely manner to the Head of Legal.


* Provide a contractual risk analysis to the Tendering and Solution Risk Management teams.


* Supporting the Execution and Procurement team in tackling any existing or potential disputes arising out from any commercial transactions they are managing.

About You


* Education
+ Law degree (LLB or equivalent); admission to a bar or qualification as an attorney/advocate is an advantage.


* Experience
+ Minimum 6-8 years of professional legal experience in commercial and/or corporate law.
+ Proven experience within an international company or law firm, preferably in the industrial, energy, infrastructure, or services sectors.
+ Solid exposure to Gulf cluster jurisdictions is highly desirable.
+ Experience dealing with government or semi-government entities is a strong advantage.
