Occupational Therapist (OT), University Inpatient, Full-time

A Staff Occupational Therapist is a registered therapist who, under general supervision, is responsible for therapeutic management of a specific caseload of patients from admission through discharge via evaluation, treatment planning and implementation.

This position provides support across all University Inpatient floors. 

Responsibilities:


* Complete the new patient evaluation, establish customized treatment plans and patient goals, and participate in the implementation of patient care programs


* Deliver and manage high quality patient care for multiple diagnoses


* Maintain a positive patient experience through patient engagement and progressive treatment


* Effectively communicate skills both verbally and in writing


* Promote evidence based patient care

Qualifications:


* Current OT license in state of Florida


* Current hands-on CPR/BLS Certification


* Experience preferred, will consider a new grad


* Knowledge of federal and state professional requirements

Location: Brooks Inpatient Hospital located at 3599 University Blvd S, Jacksonville, FL 32216

Hours: 40 hours per week, 1 weekend day per month
