Position Summary

Jeffers Crane Service, Inc.

is seeking Job Site Safety Coordinator.

The position requires 3+ years of related experience as a safety professional in the crane and rigging industry and/or construction industry.

                   

Safety Coordinator – Essential Functions


* On-boarding New Hires- New hire Orientation, employee verification (I-9’s), drug screen management


* Field safety audit - client and company audit programs


* Assist with Incident investigations


* Conduct Daily toolbox meetings


* JHA collection and review


* Reporting directly to company safety manager


* Address safety concerns of company employees and client management


* Rigging inspections


* PPE distribution

Job Specifications/Experience/Education


* Minimum OSHA 30 hour certification


* Current First Aid/CPR certification


* 3+ years of Refinery experience


* Experience with Cranes/ heavy equipment


* Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written format, i.e.

report writing.


* Experience in accident investigation.


* Ability to operate a personal computer.
