This position affords an opportunity to lead a highly expert Medical Field Team in the US covering all Taiho Oncology assets and disease areas of interest.  The responsibility spans across direct people management, external stakeholder management, and internal Medical Affairs strategy development and execution.

Position Summary:

The Director, Medical Field Team is a field-facing representative of the US Medical Affairs Department.

The Director, Medical Field Team will be responsible for the direct management of a portion of the Medical Field team including but not limited to supervision, execution of assigned Medical Field activities, expense report reviews and approvals, PTO approvals, field observations, Medical Field team development and Medical Field team evaluations.

The Director, Medical Field Team will maintain regular communication and frequent collaboration with the other home office Medical Affairs functional leaders including key product leaders, Matrix team members and Sr.

Director, Medical Field Team to ensure alignment of activities and direction amongst all Medical Field team members.

This will ensure accurate and timely understanding and execution of Medical Affairs strategy, projects, documentation and reporting with Medical Field team members.

Performance Objectives:


* Provide point of contact for day-to-day activities for assigned Medical Field team members: Implementation of the Medical Field approved geographical plan


* Assisting Medical Field team, as needed, in providing medical and/or scientific data about Taiho Oncology products and research to Scientific Leaders (SLs)/Health Care Providers (HCPs).


* Execute projects and ensure delivery of outcomes such as:
+ Development of SL lists (for Ad Boards, disease expert lists, site investigator lists, etc.),
+ Lead direct reports to support...
