Facility Electrical Engineer

Basic Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree in engineering, electrical engineering technology, or a related field.


* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

* This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Preferred Qualifications:


* 5 years of experience in electrical project management, equipment design, or industrial automation.


* Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, and automation in a manufacturing environment.


* Ability to interpret and create electrical schematic drawings.


* Ability to interpret codes, and industry regulations.


* Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD and Office 365.


* Excellent communication skills with experience in cross-functional collaboration.


* Proven ability to oversee multiple projects while maintaining timelines and budgets.


* Hands on experience with PLC programming, control system design, and troubleshooting electrical components.


* Hands on experience with industrial power distribution systems, including 12,500V high-voltage supply and secondary 480V three-phase distribution within a manufacturing environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled engineer with a strong electrical background and mechanical aptitude to lead the maintenance, design, and installation of production equipment, infrastructure, buildings, and grounds.

This role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams throughout project development and reviews to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Candidates should be adaptable, as flexibility in work hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines.

* Manage the electrical scope of process improvement, capital expansion, and obsolescence mitigation projects.


* Coordinate all phases of assigned projects from concept, scope development, written specifications, bid solicitations, related bid meetings, equipment and facilities engineering/design, manufacturing, and installation through final start-up, acceptance and project closure.


* Assist with various types of equipment and process issues from an engineering perspective with key emphasis on maintaining and improving reliability and productivity of systems with specialized technical expertise in the application and use of automation technology for plant facilities and processes.


* Maintain accurate records for all automation programs and all changes to these systems.
