Supply Chain Intern

Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Supply Chain Planning Intern in the Huntington, IN facility for the Summer 2026.

This position is On-site so the ideal candidate will be located in the general area.

This will be a full-time position.

No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided for this role.

What do you get to do in this "Supply Chain Planning Intern" position?



* Follow existing processes and procedures to ensure daily execution of operating standards and service level agreements.


* Clarify technical details, gather/analyze data and create/modify presentations


* Collaborate with cross functional teams on projects and solutions dedicated to customer service and delivery


* Drive improvements through Industrial solutions in compliance with the Schneider Production System (SPS) lean principles and conform to safety standards


* Work closely with Production Schedulers on process improvement, troubleshooting, and root causing


* Assist in maintaining master data, replenishment strategy and safety stock monthly


* Assist in the development of supplier quick ship programs


* Follow up with suppliers on outstanding purchase orders and communicate the status to Supply Chain and Production teams


* Request purchase order updates and input to the MRP system to ensure that the information is current and accurate

This job might be for you if:



* Working towards Global Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related bachelor's degree


* You are a rising junior, senior, master's student, or recent undergraduate/graduate in a business related major


* Have some experience with PPT, Excel, Access, and Tableau


* Possess leadership qualities and the ability to resolve conflicts


* Are self-motivated and self-directed with a sense of urgency


* Have a solid work ethic - honors responsibility and commitment


* Have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills


* Possess excellent communication and team collaboration skills (English language)
