Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Medication Aide (RMA) to join our assisted living team.

In this vital role, you will provide exceptional resident care, administer resident medications, assist with daily activities, and support the clinical team in delivering safe, effective, and personalized care.

Responsibilities


* Administer resident medications per physician's orders


* Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort


* Collaborate with nursing staff to identify patient needs, report changes in condition promptly, and assist with emergency responses in critical situations


* Maintain a safe environment by following infection control protocols, practicing proper hand hygiene, and adhering to safety standards for infectious disease care and acute care settings

Requirements


* Valid RMA license recognized by state licensing authorities


* Experience working with diverse populations including long-term care residents, seniors, or individuals with disabilities


* Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength such as assisting patients using Hoyer lifts or assisting with mobility aids


* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team member


* Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with required privacy practices
