Your Role: Manufacturing Capital Project Manager, Engineering

The Manufacturing Capital Project Manager, Engineering is responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of capital projects at the Elwood, Kansas monoclonal antibody (mAb) manufacturing facility.

This role partners with project sponsors, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to define project requirements, establish timelines, manage budgets, and drive successful project outcomes.

The position supports the full lifecycle of capital projects—from initial scoping through delivery of qualified facilities, equipment, and validated products.

Your Responsibilities:


* Manage all aspects of on-site capital projects to meet business needs, including planning, organizing, and executing project activities from initiation through completion.


* Develop business cases and cost estimates for capital justification, and oversee multi-disciplinary design, installation, and commissioning efforts.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with quality and safety requirements.


* Collaborate with equipment manufacturers, contractors, service providers, and design professionals to define project scope, goals, deliverables, resources, risks, and timelines.

Effectively manage project scope and ensure all changes follow formal change management processes.


* Facilitate project meetings, track milestones, and provide regular status updates to project sponsors, stakeholders, and steering teams.

Support procurement activities including vendor selection and contract documentation.


* Direct contractors and internal teams through the full project lifecycle, including asset recapitalization efforts aligned with site and company strategies.

Provide coaching and technical support to maintenance and operations teams as needed.


* Ensure compliance with cGMP standards and all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements.

Promote a “Safety First and Quality Always” mindset, proactively addressing risks through design reviews, audits, and safe work practices.
