Minimum Qualifications


* High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.


* Experience with laboratory equipment.

Preferred Qualifications


* 3 years of lab related testing experience.

Skills and Abilities :


* Strong mechanical aptitude, use of measuring equipment, microscopes, etc.


* Ability to work in a team environment.


* Must pass Metcut Central Coatings Laboratory training program to become certified.


* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.


* Ability to read and interpret customer specifications, blueprints, etc.


* Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations.


* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


* Attention to detail is critical to success in this role.


* Result driven and accountable for actions, work independently.


* Views safety as a way of life.
