Karcher Post Acute is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Staff Development Coordinator with Infection Prevention experience .

Position Summary
The Staff Development Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing staff education and training programs while overseeing infection prevention practices within the facility.

This role plays a key part in supporting staff competency, regulatory compliance, and the overall quality of care for our residents.

Responsibilities


* Coordinate and conduct staff orientation and ongoing education programs


* Provide training and competency validation for nursing staff


* Oversee and support the facility's infection prevention and control program


* Monitor infection control practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards


* Collaborate with leadership to promote quality improvement initiatives


* Maintain accurate education and infection control documentation


* Support staff development and promote a positive learning environment

Qualifications


* Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required


* Infection Prevention experience required


* Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred


* Strong organizational and communication skills


* Passion for staff development and quality patient care
