We are currently seeking an experienced People Operations Manager to join our highly skilled, dynamic team in Mankato, MN.

Opportunity for Impact

In this role, you will lead and provide employment support for corporate or operational groups.

As a business partner, you will inform and facilitate leadership decisions across the employment cycle including recruitment, interviewing, hiring, employee development, employee relations, disciplinary actions, compensation, benefits, and other functions.

Please note, this is a non-supervisory role.

Responsibilities:



* Partner with business leaders to cultivate a culture of engagement, skill development, and accountability.

Help plan and implement strategic business initiatives involving workforce changes, plant or work area reconfiguration, restructuring, integration, and/or other organizational changes.

Develop and implement People Operations solutions that improve performance.


* Guide business leaders on all issues related to People Operations such as organizational planning, hiring, talent/performance management, employee engagement, base pay and short-term incentive programs, benefits, and succession planning.  Assist with questions about career development, compensation, benefits, tuition reimbursement, benefits, and time off requests, performance feedback.


* Ensure training and onboarding programs advance quality outcomes for Nortech’s customers.


* Ensure policies and procedures are regularly maintained, aligned with labor laws and regulations, properly deployed, and followed.  Handle and/or coordinate workman’s compensation, harassment, safety, discrimination, and related workplace investigations.


* Procure and oversee competitive pay analysis; present findings and consult leadership on recommendations.  Support the utilization of incentive and reward programs; procure and provide best practices information including competitive variable pay data as needed.
