Human Resources Coordinator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.



* Ensure human resources files and records are maintained in accordance to government and Company requirements.


* Support onboarding and orientation for new hires


* Ensure EEO reporting functions are up-to-date and incompliance with regulations.


* Process employment verification forms, employee documentation, such as contracts, background checks, and benefits forms, new hires, terminations, job data change forms.


* Prepares recruitment requisition, managing job postings, pre-screen interviews.


* Administers Employment Law Training (ELT) compliance for new hires and periodic (annual / bi-annual) training for all employees.


* Completes miscellaneous research, reports, and memos as requested.


* Schedules applicants for interviews and tracks employment applications (log).


* Coordinates with related departments as required.


* Process weekly payroll by collecting and verifying timesheets, calculating wages and deductions, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and distributing accurate and timely employee payments.


* Assist new hires with HR benefits system (Benefits Solver).


* Perform service functions by answering employee requests and other reports as requested.


* Maintain all forms used for new hire orientation and assist with new hire orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.


* Assist with Employee Engagement


* Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Position requires high school graduate or equivalent.

Prefer an associate degree with two years' related job experience.

Excellent computer system skills are required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Strong customer service orientation, oral, written and interpersonal communication skills are essential; proficiency in Word and Excel are essential.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Have ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Must be an enthusiastic self-starter who takes ownership of assigned tasks and actively works to resolve problems.
