General Maintenance

Westminster Village, an affordable housing retirement community in Pensacola, Florida is seeking to hire a full time General Maintenance position.

Normal work hours are Monday through Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm.

This position has a rotating on-call schedule.

Essential Job Functions:

1.

Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs.

2.

Perform basic functions that are mechanically inclined with hand tools and power tools.

3.

Change light bulbs, A/C filters, ceiling tiles, etc.

4.

Install sinks, toilets, countertops, etc.

5.

Take temperature readings on boilers and water heaters.  Test generator and other equipment and pumps.

6.

Repair minor leaks in plumbing in less than 1" diameter pipe.

7.

Assist with replacement of kitchen/bathroom cabinets and counter tops.

8.

Assist as needed with major projects.
