Line Cook

Hotel Ella is seeking a skilled, dependable, and team-oriented Line Cook to support daily kitchen operations and help deliver a high-quality dining experience for every guest.

This position is responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating menu items according to established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.

The Line Cook plays an important role in maintaining consistency, supporting service flow, and ensuring that all food leaving the kitchen reflects Hotel Ella's culinary standards.

This role requires a strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.

The Line Cook is expected to properly set up and stock their station before service, prepare ingredients for daily use, monitor product levels throughout the shift, and communicate clearly with chefs and fellow kitchen team members to ensure smooth execution during service.

The position also includes assisting with prep work, proper food storage, rotation and labeling, cleaning responsibilities, and breakdown of the station at the end of each shift.

A successful candidate will have a solid understanding of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, sanitation standards, and safe food handling practices.

They must be able to follow direction, stay organized under pressure, and contribute positively to a collaborative kitchen culture.

Flexibility is important, as this role may require working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business demands.
