Connections Club Coordinator at Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living
The Connections Club is an all-day supervised activity engagement and wellness program.
The Connections Club Coordinator will work with our Assisted Living residents to facilitate club meetings, design and implement meaningful activity programs, encourage members to participate in activities and wellness programs.
The Connections Club Coordinator will monitor club members engagement and work with the interdisciplinary team to evaluate resident's responses to programming, and suggest alternative approaches.
Skills Needed:
* Leadership: Must possess strong leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Knowledge: A solid foundation of current laws and regulations that influence provision of care and services in nursing facilities.
* Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents and residents’ families.
* Supportive Presence: Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.
Requirements:
* Successful completion of a state-approved or Nursing Assistant competency evaluation program, or a CNA competency evaluation program approved by the state.
* Preferred experience in dementia care and senior activities and wellness.
* Demonstrates C.A.R.E.
