The Mission

Flatiron Steel isn't looking for a data entry clerk; we are looking for a sharp, high-octane Estimator & PlanHub Coordinator who is ready to dominate the metal roofing manufacturing space.

You aren't just crunching numbers; you are the technical engine of our sales process.

You will take immediate ownership of our estimation pipeline, optimize our PlanHub presence, and provide the strategic insight necessary to scale our operations.

We are looking for a "Level 5" teammate - someone who is hungry for growth, comfortable challenging the status quo, and ready to fast-track their way into a Senior Estimator leadership role.

What You'll Do


* Own the Pipeline: Rapidly generate precise, professional metal roofing estimates using TopView.


* PlanHub Mastery: Manage and optimize our PlanHub platform to ensure we are bidding on the right projects at the right time.


* Drive Revenue: Drive revenue by maintaining constant, high-level synchronicity with the sales team to ensure every project estimate is communicated clearly and strategically


* Strategic Analysis: Interpret complex blueprints and technical specs to determine exact material requirements, minimizing waste and maximizing profit.


* Collaborative Leadership: Work directly with the GM and production teams to refine pricing strategies and standard details.


* Continuous Improvement: Help lead our upcoming migration to new technology platforms (AppliCad) and streamline our internal workflows.

The Requirements


* Experience: Proven track record in construction estimation.

If you have a roofing or metal manufacturing background, you move to the front of the line.


* Technical Literacy: Mastery of Excel & Experience with TopView or AppliCad is a massive plus.


* Communication: You must be able to explain the "why" behind the numbers to both contractors and internal leadership.


* Legal: Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
