Full Time Life Enrichment & Activities Director for beautiful SNF in Osage Beach, MO

Don't miss this great opportunity for a FULL TIME Life Enrichment & Activities Director to join our team at NHC Osage Beach Rehabilitation and HealthCare Center in beautiful Osage Beach, MO!! We are an 80 bed skilled nursing facility.

What we're looking for:


* A team player who is trustworthy, dependable and energetic


* Committed in Enhancing The Quality of Life for our Patients & Partners


* Available at least one weekend day per week


* Comfortable using a computer, specifically Microsoft Word


* Someone who is comfortable leading others and serving on our Department Head Leadership Team

Life Enrichment Director applicants must have a desire to work with seniors, be compassionate and creative.

The ideal candidate would also have some knowledge of activity programming in long term care as your goal would be to provide daily meaningful activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Specifically you are responsible for:


* Working with the Activities Assistant & Administrator to lead wellness activities for Long Term Care, Memory Care and Rehab patients as assigned (This will occasionally include some weekend and/or holiday hours)


* Timely completion of associated paperwork


* Coordinating celebrations, holidays and parties


* Having fun at work and making sure others do too


* Other duties as assigned

Other important skills are:


* Strong communication and time management


* Ability to be a team player and work with other departments to build staff morale


* Basic typing and computer skills


* Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Publisher specifically for producing monthly calendars and newsletters along with other external and internal marketing material
