Summer Intern - Social Media and Marketing

This allows us to take a comprehensive, holistic approach to improving the lives of every person we serve those who receive and those who reap the benefits of our innovative, responsive solutions.Position Title: Social Media and Marketing InternSchedule Details: Monday - Thursday; 12-15 hours per weekLocation: Baltimore, MDRequirements:Experience and/or Education: Currently enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a related field.Required:
* Strong working knowledge of major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook)
* Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or similar platforms
* Comfortable on camera and experienced with short-form video content creation and basic editing
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Creative thinker with a proactive, self-starter mindset
Preferred:
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or similar design software
* Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later, Buffer)
* Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact)
* Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
* Video editing skills (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, iMovie, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
* Prior experience or coursework in marketing, healthcare communications, or community outreach
* Genuine passion for disability services, mental health, or social impact work
Clearances: Child Abuse Clearance, Criminal clearance, and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that the employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and ExperienceWhat's in it for you?
