Pharmacy Technician Specialist – IV Prep and Compounding

Work Schedule:
100% FTE; Day Shift.

Monday - Friday; 8:00AM - 4:30PM.

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician Specialist to:


* Use their compounding skills to prepare medications for our patients at UW Cancer Center - Johnson Creek


* Prepare and distribute pharmaceuticals, perform inventory control, compliance audits, and financial transactions, provide excellent customer service, and maintain pharmacy records.


* Have the ability to work independently, be highly detail-oriented, and a critical thinker who easily identifies how to prioritize work and manage time within a busy work environment.

The ideal candidate will have sterile hazardous and/or non-hazardous compounding knowledge and experience.

Qualifications


* High School Diploma or equivalent Required


* Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program Preferred

Work Experience


* 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician, completion of accredited Pharmacy Technician Training Program, or completion of second year of pharmacy school.

* Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration Upon Hire Required


* Certified Pharmacy Technician Preferred
