Job Description

SUMMARY

Manage the day to day operations of the department and satisfy training requirements.

Ensures quality of development by closely monitoring programming standards are being adhered to by staff.

Researches and designs solutions to IT issues reported by the business.

Ensures productions systems are adequately monitored for performance issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES


* Day to day management and support of Team; identify and satisfy training requirements


* Ensures quality of development by closely monitoring programming standards are being adhered to by staff - including coding standards, proficient in code and design reviews.


* Stake holder communication.


* Administrative activities of Team

REQUIREMENTS


* Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.


* Area of Study: Computer Science


* Years of Experience: Five to seven years.


* Type of Experience: Software development, Quality Assurance, Project Management , Agile development


* Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Proficient in the following
+ Building data pipelines
+ Data Governance.
+ LookML Development
+ Semantic Layer Modeling
+ Python
+ Medallion Architecture
+ Data Warehouse proficiency
+ Dashboard and Report Optimization
+ BigQuery and GCP experience preferred
