Pharmacy Technician

Work Schedule:

100% FTE, Monday through Friday 6:00 AM-10:30 PM, every other weekend, rotating holidays, you will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St.

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Overtime

Qualifications



* High School diploma/GED or presently attending high school.

Work Experience



* Retail pharmacy or hospital experience is preferred, in particular in the following areas: unit dose distribution, compounding non-sterile medications, IV admixture including USP and , and automated dispensing machine technology.

Licenses & Certifications



* Current licensure from the State of Illinois.

Candidates without a license may work in this role for 60 days from date of license application through Illinois Department of Professional and Financial Regulation.

Those enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy are exempt from certification requirements, but will need to obtain a "Pharmacy Technician- Student Designation" license from IDFPR.
