Nursing Assistant – Pediatrics Operating Room

Work Schedule :

1.0 FTE, Day/ Evening.

Monday through Friday 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:00am-11pm, with primary hours being 7am-3:30pm and 11:30am - 8pm.

Pay :


* External hires may be eligible for up to a $3,000 sign on bonus.

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant to:


* Prepare patients for the Operating Room and/or procedure requiring anesthesia.


* Obtain vital signs, reposition patients, and comfort patients.


* Ability to cross-train as a health unit coordinator.

You will prepare charts for the following day's patients, check-in patients, and order department supplies.


* Interact and engage with patients and their families to establish a trusting relationship and assist with wayfinding.

Qualifications:



* High School Diploma or equivalent and Graduate of State of Wisconsin Approved Nursing Assistant program Required

Work Experience:



* 1 year recent experience as a Nursing Assistant Preferred

Licenses & Certifications:



* Listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry Upon Hire Required


* BLS/CPR certification within 3 months Required
