Position Title: Manager - Procurement

Reports To: General Manager

Location: Mumbai

Employment Type: Full-time

Roles and Responsibilities


* Should be aware of the P2P (Procure to Pay) process.


* Manage end to end procurement for assigned categories of raw materials.


* Maintain strong follow ups with suppliers for timely deliveries and communicate updates appropriately to stakeholders.


* Ensure schedule adherence and achieve 98% on time delivery.


* Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and consistent performance.


* Drive supplier performance improvement and resolve escalations related to quality or delivery issues.


* Implement and monitor the FIFO mechanism, inventory controls, and stock optimization.


* Work with cross functional teams (quality, operations, logistics) to streamline processes.


* Understand quality issues and coordinate with suppliers to ensure proper corrective actions are taken.


* Mandatory hands on experience in SAP and Excel.

Knowledge of Tableau/Power BI will be an added advantage.


* Good communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities

Experience


* 5-8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain


* Experience in manufacturing plant is preferred


* Hands-on experience in procurement and supplier management


* Analytical Skills - PowerBI, Taleu, Data Analytics, Advance Excel
