Experienced Associate, Family Office

As an Experienced Associate in our Family Office group, you will support the day-to-day accounting operations and reporting for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their related entities.

Family Office Accounting & Operations
* Assist with accounting and financial reporting for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and their related entities
* Maintain general ledgers across multiple business and investment entities
* Support monthly and year-end close processes, including financial statement preparation
* Prepare reconciliations of cash and other balance sheet accounts
* Assist with accounting for investment activity and related reporting
Accounts Payable & Financial Administration
* Process vendor invoices and support approval and payment workflows
* Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and supporting documentation
* Assist with tracking and recording investment-related transactions as needed
* Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data across accounting systems
Process Improvement & Documentation
* Create and maintain clear documentation for accounting processes and assigned tasks
* Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting processes, and operational efficiency
* Support implementation of process improvements and best practices across the team
* Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
* Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency with Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks Enterprise
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
* Strong technology mindset and willingness to learn new systems
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working with family office or investment clients
* Experience with accounting for investments, including private equity or hedge funds
