* Minimum of an Associate degree in manufacturing, industrial, mechanical technology or related field from an accredited institution.


* Minimum of one year experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment.


* Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications


* 2 years of work experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.


* Reading blueprints / specifications.


* Understanding of production processes and manufacturing related metrics.


* Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.


* Excellent communication skills.


* Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Microsoft Excel.


* Ability to work independently and in a team collaborating with others.

This weekend-crew position will be located in our Whitehall Casting, Plant 10 Operations.

Summary: The manufacturing engineering technician role provides technical support to ensure continuous flow of parts, materials and information by addressing issues that arise to drive velocity through the plant.
